GEETA CAMP 2010, MAY

  • In the geeta camp the children those who participated belonged to the age group 8-20 years. The basic features of the camp included:- Slokas of Bhagwad Geeta;
  • Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
  • Four Iskcon Dancing steps.
  • Dramas based on the stories Of Lord Sri Krishna.
  • Puzzles & Q&A Session.
  • On the final 9th day a Group Function was organized where all the children Parent's were cordially invited.The joy on the face of every Parent on seeing their children perform so beautifully , is inexplicable.Lot of Press People were invited & they heartily appreciated the efforts of all the people involved.
  • The main feature that attracted all was the way by which the food cooked was offered to the Lord before serving MahaPrasadam.The Prayers which were chanted before we took Prasad. This imbibed within the heart of all a deep sense of moral values & gave a little insight that their children learnt some of the instructions which the sastras have prescribed for the benefit of the mankind.
  • People look forward to many more such camps in the future.
